We’re really not that bad

You might wonder, are we the kind of people who are impossible to deal with in restaurants or other retail situations. After all, we’ve fired two architects already and we haven’t even broke ground.

But we really aren’t. We’re nice people. Honestly.

Our first try at the architectural profession was Robb. We refer to him as Robubub. He talked endlessly about rainwater recliamation, told us he found children distracting and after seven weeks of work gave us something that looked like it was scrawled on a napkin after a few too many drinks.

I got to fire Robb.
Then came Ed. Dignified to a fault. A lifetime resident of our town. He said all the right things and even seemed to like our kids. Then we told him we wanted to bring a designer onboard. He threw a fit. An ugly, nasty email fit that I’d like to put behind me.

The pleasure of the firing was Sue’s

Now we’re working with the designer to finish the plans and get them in shape to put out to bid.

I’ve got my fingers crossed.
